Land-grant Engagement
Cross-campus partnerships are powering outreach
We are the University of, for and with Kentucky. Our history as a land-grant university is rooted in service to the Commonwealth—embodied by our legacy in Cooperative Extension and embraced by students, faculty and staff in every corner of our campus—we find new and creative ways to carry out our call to serve all people. Through the Office of Land-grant Engagement, the university—in partnership with counties and communities across our state—is engaged in a collaborative effort to meet the needs of those we serve. Our people are both those who comprise this special community and those who we serve as we aspire to advance Kentucky through education, research, service and care. That has always been our mission and in recent years we’ve expanded that idea through our campus-wide and community-based resources to teach, support, serve and care for those in every corner of the state.
